Some sessions include family and sibling portraits free of charge as part of the New Baby Club (will be noted below). You are welcome to add a family session or sibling session to any session in the New Baby Club (or upgrade to an outdoor session) for an additional fee. Unfortunately, we are not able to substitute missed sessions. Please inquire for more details!
Some general guidelines many parents have asked us for:
Maternity Session: This session is best done when the mom-to-be is between 32 and 34 weeks along. We shoot a wide variety of maternity portraits, so please visit our galleries ahead of time and let us know what type of session you would like. This ranges from no skin shown to just belly exposed to fine art maternity sessions. Call us if you have any questions or would like to discuss the different types of portraits. Siblings are welcome at this session!

Newborn Session: This is best done at 1-2 weeks old, however we have had babies in the studio as young as 3 days old and as old as 4 weeks old. The older the baby is, the more they “uncurl” and are more likely to wake in the middle of the session. Feel free to bring props or anything special to you (hand knitted blankets by grandma, that ridiculously cute owl hat from aunt, your stuffed animal from when you were a child, dad’s firefighter helmet, etc!) Mom and Dad are also included in this session. We highly recommend that you come wearing a black shirt– this hides any potty accidents during the session!

3 Months: The majority of this session will be held on baby’s tummy, therefore this session is best when baby is comfy on their belly and able to push up. We have found that most babies reach this milestone closer to 4 months old. We HIGHLY recommend waiting until your baby is comfortable on their stomach before shooting this session! This will give you a great variety of portraits!
6 Months: This session is best photographed when baby is able to sit unassisted for at least a minute. Again, we have found that this milestone is usually reached closer to 7 months old. At this session you are welcome to do sibling portraits or family portraits free of charge!
1 Year Old: This session is a lot of fun! Your little one will be full of expressions, probably crawling and maybe even walking around! At the end of the session we will provide a cake for baby to smash – CUTE! Feel free to bring props — favorite toys, blankets, party hats, diaper covers and balloons for the cake smash.
